Born in San Francisco and raised by her Sri Lankan immigrant parents, she received an MA in Creative Writing, was a news assistant for Orange County Register, and an editorial intern for Entangled Publishing. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s salivating over street food YouTube videos and liking her furbaby’s posts on social media who has more followers than her.
